Our Purpose

Christ Knocking at Your Heart's Door

Believing that God, through the person and work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, has reached out to humanity with love and forgiveness, this online church seeks to grow in Christian faith through worship, study, service, and celebration, to the end that the Gospel is made known to all who will listen and embody Christ’s compassion and holiness to a sinful and broken world.  The beliefs of this online church are uncompromisingly revealed and proclaimed in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as traditionally received (39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament), being the supreme authority for faith, doctrine, and practice.  Believing them also to be consistent with Holy Scripture, this online church also adheres without compromise to the historic creeds of the Universal Church, especially as embodied in the Apostles’ Creed, and the historic teachings of the Protestant Reformation.

Our paramount objective is to proclaim the good news of salvation in Christ.  If you do not know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, we invite you to receive Him into your heart and life today.  We are created in the image of God, but sin caused us to be separated from God.  There is nothing we can do in and of ourselves to save ourselves from the penalty of sin which is death.  God has provided, through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, the only means to save us from the law of sin and death.  Jesus came to pay the penalty of sin in our place.  He did so by dying on a Roman cross and rising bodily from the grave three days afterward.  Through Christ and His shed blood, we are forgiven our sins, given eternal life, and made joint heirs with Him.  Salvation in Christ is the greatest gift anyone can receive, but it does not do anyone any good if this gracious gift is not received.  All we have to do to receive God's free gift of salvation in Christ is to truly repent of our sin and place our complete faith and trust in Christ and what He did for us on our behalf.  By doing so, we receive eternal salvation, a new nature, and the Holy Spirit comes to live in our hearts.  If you have chosen to receive Christ as your Savior and Lord today, we would certainly love to hear about that and help you begin to grow in your new Christian life.  May the Lord bless you!
